Hands-down, this is one of the most beautiful isopod species. We maintain ours in an uncovered container to provide lots of ventilation, and give them fruit and protein-rich fish flakes. While they may also eat Repashy's morning wood, they appear to prefer protein. Cover is provided with wood and limestone, which they appear to like, and we only maintain one moist corner of the vivarium. The remainder gets sprayed every few days--depending on humidity, but as with most Spanish species, Porcellio bolivari appears to like it dry.
