Another beautiful morph with mysterious origins, Armadillidium vulgare "St. Lucia" may be derived from the Caribbean, but not necessarily. This is a very variable and beautiful A. vulgare variety, as the pictures show. Any selection will have a number of different colors. Like other forms of A. vulgare, they are tolerant of drier conditions and appear to like limestone, though they will also settle for wood. This is a great isopod to work with, and they're great breeders, too!
